Week 01 Cabrera Family

Miguel Cabrera asked his mother to move in and help care for the children. Just yesterday his wife, Danielle was sent to Prosperity Highlands after being diagnosed with “placement”. As soon as he settles the family in, he too will be leaving for Prosperity Highlands never to return to Cedar Park.

The taxi has come to take him away. Rob & Paige continue to play as his mother goes to care for Rose. Have they forgotten him already? He pauses for a good-bye that never comes. He sighs to himself, stepping in to the waiting taxi. Soon, he too will be just as forgotten as his lovely bride… um, bride… he did marry, didn’t he? He had a family, he… who was he… who are those people on that empty lot? One word kept creeping in to his thoughts, “deleted”.

Erica surveyed their empty 3x3 lot. By nightfall there stood a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home, leaving them very little money.
Erica: “Well, I’m just going to have to do something about that!”
Erica took off downtown while the kids went to school. She tries her hand at barista at the spa. Not a very high paying job, but she is after all an elder with no skills.
Just before her break a handsome young man walks up… very up close and personal like. Look Erica, he’s a looker, he’ll make one of your granddaughters very happy. Meet Jeff McGaw, a prospective hubby for one of the girls… unless Paige draws romance again and let’s hope that doesn’t happen!
Erica: “Draws romance again? How could Paige have gotten an aspiration already if she is only a child?”
What? Oh nothing… Erica, talk to him quick before he gets away!

By Wednesday, Rose has grown up well and out of her toddler stage. Thank goodness, now maybe Erica can breathe and get a social life. She keeps spinning up a want to fall in love. Gosh, she looks just like Paige; Rose may need a new haircut.
Rose: “No way, I look good!”

This time around, Erica manages to keep all of the kids away from Social Services, skilling like crazy and all of them are doing well in school. Paige managed an A+ by Thursday, Rob is a B student and Rose is catching up quick having just started school.
Erica: “Huh? This time around? What are you talking about?”
Ignore the voice Erica; go on about your business… I, er, misspoke is all.
The twins will be growing up next visit. They sure are popular kids; they keep bringing people home from school. Hopefully this trend will continue in their teen years and we can find suitable mates.
Rob: “Ew! I’m not gonna mate. That’s just gross!”
Ha, you say that now.

Before we leave the Cabrera household, I had to show you this glitch. Erica was potty training Rose and suddenly she was no longer on the potty. Once she was done, she plopped right on the floor in front of Erica. That was just too weird for words!
